Here we go!  Times they are a changing!

We're going back into regular production mode here at the HYPNOCAST.  That means we will have new episodes online at a much more regular basis,

We are also changing how we handle video episodes.  From now on, a video episode will be podcast as an audio MP3, the same as any of the other audio-only podcasts.  The video will be embedded in the Hypnocast webpages for online viewing.  This makes it easier for folks to download and listen to the audio files while on the go and saves some of our data space allowance here at the Hypnocast (so we can do more episodes in a month).

For now, we've got the old video episodes in the pipe and they will be repodcast as MP3s and the videos embedded online.

For consistency, I will be removing the embedded files of past Hypnocast video episodes after Sept. 15, so if you really want those files, get them now.  I will place in-browser views versions.

After the "old" files are cycled, we will have some new video episodes ready to go that are in the can now (such as the "Change Hands Resolution Process" and a "Higher Self Hypnosis" process as well as the delightful "Sensual Anchoring" process).  Therre is much more in the pipeline so watch out for it.

I will also be placing a collection of the video episodes on my main webpages at http://www.BrianDavidPhillips.com in the videos section as well as on my page in the HypnoThoughts hypnosis community.  Perhaps on my various hypnosis Facebook communities as well (such as the Experiential Hypnosis and Hypnosis Trance Taiwan groups, if we can get around the technical hurldes).

Yep, the Hypnocast has been missing in action for a bit . . . but . . . look for a flurry of activity beginning 15 Sept. 2007 . . . that's when a bunch of changes will take place.

We will begin broadcasting the Hypnocast on a REGULAR basis.  That's right, no more on again off again posts.  We've decided to commit to full-on regular content.

We will have a LOT and I mean a LOT more audio Hypnocast episodes for you as well as a few more video Hypnocast sessions (so, don't fret, we aren't giving those up but changing how we do them so we can bring you MORE content).

We're also going to change how we do the video Hypnocasts.  We will no longer downsize the videos and place them here for download.  Instead, we will embed the higher resolution videos directly in the browser.  When technical issues are worked out, we may then have audio downloads of the soundtracks of the videos available for download but not the videos themselves.  This is a win-lose change, we know.  However, it means you get better quality video to watch and audio to listen to.  This change allows us to save server space here on Libsyn so we can have more episodes in a month as well as have better quality (it kills me to have to downgrade the video quality for the longer pieces simply because of the file size limits here at Libsyn).

I have set up the next hypnocast and you should be getting it when the clock ticks . . . when I upload new hypnocasts, they are set to automatically be podcast Sunday at 01:00 (that's 1am). That happens to be a completely different time zone from where I live though . . . for instance, my time, right now . . . it is Sept. 11, at about 1:11pm . . . so let's see when libsyn says it's posted. - Brian

I am tweaking the auto delivery dates and times for the episodes that have been finished and uploaded (we'll be doing the "Throught the Gate into Tarot" process first episode and "Swishy Swishy Swish Swish Swish" as an explanation and demonstration of the NLP Swish Pattern for the second episode. I wanted to set these to autopost at Noon on Sunday . . . it seems the Libsyn clock is not the same as mine so I'll check again after the world turns a bit to see if they've posted away.

. . . the Brian David Phillips Hypnocast is now live. I am Brian David Phillips and this is my hypnocast, thus the clever name for the beastie. This podcast audioblog thingie will accompany my blog at Life of Brian (http://briandavidphillips.typepad.com/brian/) and my professional webpages at Brian David Phillips Waking Dreams (http://www.briandavidphillips.com). I am an Associate Professor and a hypnotist . . . most of the podcasts here will be related to focused trance, experiential hypnosis, guided imagery, and the like. I will include both trance sessions for your enjoyment as well as occassional lectures, discussions, and demonstrations of techniques. I will be podcasting into subcategories to make it easier for folks who are only interested in one type of podcast to subscribe . . . however, you are encouraged to go ahead and subscribe to the full stream to get all of the goodness (http://briandavidphillips.libsyn.com/rss).
