Sun, 30 October 2005 Secrets of the Six Step Reframe (17:16, 6 megs.). In this episode we examine a straightforward, simple, but powerful NLP process that utlizes parts and trance without formal induction. I will explain the background to the process and then we will go though a brief guided imagery to demonstrate it. Sun, 23 October 2005 Into the Garden of Delights (19:55, 7 megs.). This episode of the Brian David Phillips Podcast is one of my favorite guided imagery processes. Imagine yourself walking through the ancient gates into a garden paradise where the Goddess receives you and bestows a gift of perfect love upon you. Ishtar, Belit, Mylitta, Aphrodite, and the rest . . . the Goddess is within you and flows through and around you . . . in all things. Sun, 16 October 2005 Shapeshifter Animal Spirit Guide (16:23, 5.7 megs.). This episode of the Brian David Phillips Podcast is one of my favorite processes turned into a guided imagery that combines the concept of the animal spirit guide with that of the the werecreature. Folks who know me, know my love of the werewolf and this is a playful way to explore one's animal spirit connection. Sun, 9 October 2005 Into the Mists (29:45, 10.5 megs.). This time around we have our longest episode of the Brian David Phillips Podcast to date . . . it is a guided imagery that asks you to imagine yourself floating through the mists of spacetime into the realm of the universal unconscious where you join with the archetypes to experience various scenes of perfect joy, pleasure, and love confured by the subconscious. As some regular readers of my work know, the original script for this piece - written oh so long ago - was much more sensual and erotic in tone. This version is a bit more on the vanilla side but is still very much about expeiencing pleasure. The process can be used for other emotional associations as well, albeit it is here used for a positive set. NOTE: My apologies for the confusion as when this piece was originally podcast, the file name and the MP3 title did not jibe. The title has been adjusted to the correct name. This is indeed Into the Mists. I have deleted the old post and replaced it with a new one and re-uploaded the file with a different name. All is well with the world. Sun, 2 October 2005 Past Lives, Past Loves (15:07, 5.3 megs.). This episode of the Brian David Phillips Podcast is an explanation and guided imagery in which you imagine yourself floating back in time to a time of perfect love in a past life, possibly to meet someone in this life as well. This is the third variation I have recorded of this piece as it is one of the more popular of my processes and is often requested. It is intended as an introspection or recreational piece and should be treated as such. Feel free to post positive comments and responses to Life of Brian or Brian David Phillips Waking Dreams. Sun, 25 September 2005 Anchors Away: Anchoring and Trigger Response Conditioning (22:41, 8 megs.). In this episode, we look at the NLP process of Anchoring and see how it is different in some ways and similar in others to Hypnotic Trigger Response Conditioning with a peek at where the concepts come from in the history of classical and associative behavioral conditioning. I also explain the differences between overt explicit conditioning and covert implicit conditioning processes. Finally, we go through a simple anchoring based guided imagery process to demonstrate the process. Yes, the example I use in the "test" your anchor part of the is intended to be playful. Sun, 18 September 2005 Magick Carpet Ride (13:07, 4.6 megs.). This episode is a straightforward guided imagery in which you imagine you have found a magick carpet which flies over the landscape on a special journey. Sun, 11 September 2005 Swishy, Swishy, Swish, Swish, Swish (14:29, 5.1 megs). In this episode, I explain and demonstrate the structure of the Swish Pattern from Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). This is one of the older NLP patterns and uses both associated and dissociated states and swishes them together to form a powerful unconsciously driven compulsion for change. The pattern itself is an oldie, but a goldie. The demonstration portion of the explanation is setup to allow listeners to run the pattern themselves for their own behaviors, responses, or issues they wish to change. Sun, 11 September 2005 I have set up the next hypnocast and you should be getting it when the clock ticks . . . when I upload new hypnocasts, they are set to automatically be podcast Sunday at 01:00 (that's 1am). That happens to be a completely different time zone from where I live though . . . for instance, my time, right now . . . it is Sept. 11, at about 1:11pm . . . so let's see when libsyn says it's posted. - Brian Category: general -- posted at: 12:11 AM Comments[5] |
Fri, 9 September 2005 The subscription link for the hypnocast was malformed in a number of my posts at Life of Brian . . . should be fixed now so folks can enjoy the podcast. Sheesh. - Brian Category: general -- posted at: 10:55 PM Comments[2] |
Sun, 4 September 2005 Through the Gate into Tarot (24:41, 8.7 megs.). Here we go. The premiere post for the Brian David Phillips Hypnocast is an explanation and guided imgery for a process adapted from a technique I use that empolys deep trance identification involving the Tarot which I have taught in a number of web-based seminars. This new process is one that I have developed out of that as well as some other ideas I've had floating around a bit. It is an introspective meditation process using a deck of Tarot cards that involves a three card draw (guide card, grounding card, and catalyst card) which are then combined in an experiential trance process.
Feel free to comment upon this epsisode, the process and the positive effect you get from it, or the hypnocast in general either by dropping me an email or commenting here or at Life of Brian or at Brian David Phillips Waking Dreams.

Sat, 3 September 2005 I am tweaking the auto delivery dates and times for the episodes that have been finished and uploaded (we'll be doing the "Throught the Gate into Tarot" process first episode and "Swishy Swishy Swish Swish Swish" as an explanation and demonstration of the NLP Swish Pattern for the second episode. I wanted to set these to autopost at Noon on Sunday . . . it seems the Libsyn clock is not the same as mine so I'll check again after the world turns a bit to see if they've posted away.
